 Which cities could get an IPL team in 2021? I just recently came to know about this that IPL 2021 will now open for 9th team and franchise from many cities are compete each other to get their team. The reason that BCCI planned to offer a place for 9th team in the IPL 2021 seaosn is that the board has face off some loses due to lockdown crisis. The First City to be in the List is Gujarat - Ahmedabad which is highly possible to get a place to join in IPL 9th Team race. Gujarat have refurbished Motera Stadium in which they can allow 1,10,000 audiences at a time if everything ok and audinces are allowed despite pandemic. The second city on the List is Lucknow - Uttar Pradesh. Following, Pune - Maharashtra are also in the list to get the spot. As we all know Pune Warriors were played already two times.
